Marqez

Marqez is a musical project launched in 2017 as a creative outlet for the prolific artist Daniel Marquez. Based in Santos, São Paulo, Marqez made an early appearance in the music market for radio, TV, and film that same year, and soon began releasing music both nationally and internationally. His work has been featured on labels such as Primitive State, Noise Records, MEMNTGN, Diffuse Reality, Dolma Red, Oke Records, Trau-Ma, Betrieb Records, M Ocean Records, Under Vision Recordings, his own imprint Marqez, among many others. In 2023, driven by a search for new sounds and artistic challenges, and immersed in his ongoing experiments and research in sound design, Daniel began delving into the world of Bass Music — free from constraints of genre or market expectations. This new sonic phase debuted in February 2024 with the release of the single “Vai”, and several other tracks are already scheduled for the coming months. His 2024 album, titled “Novas Formas” (New Forms) as well "Noise Esquema Novo" of 2026 showcases a broader vision of his recent work — music as a pure form of artistic expression.
